Silicon-carbon alloying agent is mainly used for deoxidation alloying of molten steel. Its Si and C recovery rates are relatively stable. It can replace the use of ferrosilicon and some recarburizers, whereas its use cost is lower. Therefore, it can significantly reduce the cost of alloy raw materials required for steelmaking.

Si-C series products in our company have high ball strength and low pulverization degrees. Without affected by the factors such as temperature and material height when being added in the converter silo, the silicon-carbon alloying agent is not sucked away by dust removal equipment due to large-area pulverization, so as to ensure sufficient utilization.
