Aluminium-iron alloy is one of the commonly used deoxidizers in the steelmaking industry. It has a reasonable specific gravity and can quickly sink below the slag layer, effectively controlling the oxygen reaction between aluminum-air and aluminum-slag, further deoxidizing molten steel and improving the yield rate of other alloys. Compared with the conventional aluminum deoxidizer, it can not only gain a higher yield rate of aluminum, but also make the residual aluminum content to be easier controlled and improve the inclusion content and morphology. According to statistics, the comprehensive utilization rate of aluminum in aluminum-iron alloy is above 95% in our company.
